Public Sector: Opportunities Fund offers new roles

The New Opportunities Fund is setting up a regional PR structure for the first time as the grants it has distributed begin to be used for good causes. The organisation, which exists to distribute lottery funding to health, education and environment-related causes, has a central communications team of nine but will now establish communications officers in the three regional offices in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The head of communications Linda Quinn said the new positions would involve publicising the good work being done and attracting other applicants for funding.
