EMC EuroPR’s very good client assessment mark contrasts strongly with its relatively low agency credentials score. with its relatively low agency credentials score. Clients are clearly

pleased with the agency, praising its business understanding,

flexibility and efficiency. ’We cannot envisage any better PR

organisation,’ commented one. Relationships were deemed excellent.



In the pitching category, EMC EuroPR scored particularly well on

service, meeting the brief and being proactive, and most clients rated

the agency’s evaluation of its own work as impressive. Nuts and bolts

marks were generally more pedestrian, with the exception of keeping

promises, and the agency was marked down for its reluctance to offer

tough advice.



Agency credentials marks suggest there are various areas internally that

the agency could improve upon.



Relatively low investment in training, and staff who have lower academic

qualifications than the norm meant the agency dropped marks in the staff

category. Business performance was unstartling with fee income growth

below average. The agency notched up some marks for use of media reach

and content analysis in-house, but lack of planning methodologies and

external evaluation lead to a low quality mark. However, with Investors

in People and PRCA standards pending the quality mark is set to

improve.
