MEDIA BRIEFS: All change at The Sun’s news desk

The Sun has reshuffled its news desk, promoting deputy news editor Sue Thompson to be its first female news editor. Former news editor Glen Goodey has been given the new role of assistant editor, planning. Mark Wood, former deputy night news editor, becomes Thompson’s deputy, while Brandon Malinsky, night news editor, steps up to associate news editor.

Brian Flynn will head the night news desk and reporter Alex Cohen
