Peregrine Communications to handle Liontrust account.

Liontrust has called in Peregrine Communications to handle PR and comms. The account, which was won after a two-stage competitive pitch, will be led by Peregrine partner and executive director Roddi Vaughan-Thomas. Liontrust manages retail funds, hedge funds and institutional mandates.

Richard Neve will move from his non-executive director role at CitySavvy to an executive director position. The activities and team that Neve had at Media Club International will now be fully integrated into the CitySavvy offering.

FD has recruited Maria Shiryaevskaya as a vice-president in its Moscow office. Reporting to MD Leonid Solovyev, Shiryaevskaya will advise international investors in the CIS on their comms strategies in the region, as well as leading Russian, Kazakhstani and Ukrainian companies on their international strategic comms programmes. She joins FD from The PBN Company, where she spent seven years advising clients such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Telenor, BP and HSBC.

MHP Communications has been brought in as retained PR adviser by Caird Capital. The firm is a recently launched joint venture between Coller Capital and Lloyds Banking Group, and manages a portfolio of 40 private equity investments.

Norton Rose, the international law firm, has appointed Kerrin Roberts as global head of PR. He most recently worked as a freelance consultant advising a number of European multinational corporations and replaces Sean Twomey, who has become head of business development for Norton Rose in Asia.
