manufacturer Raleigh to handle its PR during next month’s Millennium

Festival of Cycling.

NBC is tasked with raising the brand profile of Raleigh throughout a

series of events planned for the last week of June. The account was

awarded after a competitive pitch held last month by Raleigh’s PR and

events manager Jayne Davis. The four-strong account team will be led by

associate director Sue Skeats, reporting to Davis at Raleigh’s

Nottingham headquarters.

The week-long event - including the flagship Cycling Festival 2000 in

York - is backed by the Government, local authorities and the Millennium

Commission.

Skeats hopes to capitalise on events including the Bike to Work Day, and

MPs’ Bike Ride.
