CIPR announces candidates for 2011 president elect and council representatives

The CIPR has announced Staniforth MD Rob Brown and Health & Safety Executive comms director Sally Sykes as the candidates for the professional body's 2011 president elect.

The successful candidate will take up their position alongside the CIPR president, 2011, Paul Mylrea, on 1 January.

Voting is open to CIPR fellows, full members, overseas members, in the fellow and full member categories, retired members and honorary fellows.

The candidates for this year’s elected CIPR council seats have also been announced.

The deadline for voting is noon on 19 November, with the results being announced on 26 November.

Jenifer Stirton has been named as the CIPR treasurer for 2011.
