Healthcare: The Week in Healthcare

Brazil wins Genactis brief.

Genactis, the international healthcare research firm, has brought in Brazil as its first retained PR agency, after a competitive four-way pitch.

Brazil's brief will be to change the perception of Genactis from a market research agency to a life sciences provider, and includes both off and online work. Richard Kenyon, who recently joined Brazil from Fleishman-Hillard's healthcare agency, will lead the account.

CCD Public Relations, the consumer health, beauty and nutrition agency, has bolstered its nutrition team with the hire of Julia Riddle following recent business wins. She joins as senior account executive from Nexus Communications and brings with her a wealth of experience from working on a series of well-known healthcare brands and industry nutrition campaigns.

Spink, the healthcare comms agency, has appointed senior comms specialist Kirstie Pace as the agency continues to expand its pharmaceutical client base. Pace joins from GlaxoSmithKline, where she spent four years as European comms manager, and is the latest in a string of hires to work on Spink's portfolio of clients including GSK, Reckitt Benckiser and Leo Laboratories.
