US shopping website CafePress calls on Six Degrees to boost profile

Californian website CafePress has appointed Six Degrees to handle its UK consumer PR brief.

CafePress attracts over 11 million shoppers every month who buy and sell custom gifts - including T-shirts, hoodies, mugs and water bottles - that reflect their interests, passions and affiliations. The site currently stocks over 250 million unique gifts.

The PR programme will help raise awareness of the CafePress brand, already widely recognised in the US, on this side of the pond.
 
Six Degrees will focus on building relationships with consumer, lifestyle and fashion journalists and bloggers, and encourage them to try out the site for themselves.  The team reports to San Mateo-based Marc Cowlin, director of brand marketing for CafePress.

‘CafePress has fast become an iconic brand in the US and has a huge following there,' said Six Degrees director Amanda Hassall. ‘Our job is to establish the company as the go-to site in the UK for creating your own custom design, print-on-demand merchandise.’
