Former ING comms chief Karen Bennett to head up AEGON global corporate communications

Karen Bennett has joined AEGON Asset Management to head up its global corporate communications activities.

She will be responsible for raising the investment manager’s profile across Asia, Europe and the United States.

Bennett joins the AEGON division from ING where she was most recently head of marketing and communications for its insurance and asset management activities in Asia. She has also worked for Gavin Anderson & Company and AXA Investment Managers.

Adrian Cammidge will retain external communications responsibilities for the European division of the business in his capacity as head of European investment communications.

AEGON has assets under management of EUR 200 billion and currently employs around 1,300 people around the world.
