PUBLIC SECTOR: Political Counsel wins Workforce account

GCI’s public affairs arm, Political Counsel, has won a three-way pitch to handle media and public affairs for Workforce, the charitable body which assesses and guides young people with special needs to suitable support organisations. GCI’s brief is to position Workforce as the first contact for young people with special needs through raising awareness both in government and other partner organisations. GCI will also launch and promote a handbook which outlines good practice within the field of special needs. Rod Cartwright will lead the team, which reports to Workforce’s head of marketing and development Joe Billington. GCI won the pitch ahead of Fishburn Hedges and Grayling.
