Pelican will work in support of Frank PR, which is handling the overall UK launch of SodaStream.
The SodaStream machine was popularised in the 1970s and 80s with the tagline ‘get busy with the fizzy'. It was then relaunched in the UK earlier this year with a major TV advertising and PR campaign.
Consultancy managing director Michael Bennett said: ‘Consumers are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of what they buy. Because it uses tap water and minimal packaging, SodaStream has a strong sustainability story to tell.’
The SodaStream system lets consumers carbonate water and flavour carbonated beverages at home as an alternative to purchasing pre-packed bottles or cans. The company is the world's largest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of home carbonation systems, which are sold in more than 30 countries.
