- What is it good for?

Having a choice of three chic and contemporary dining spaces, it is perfect for entertaining clients or journalists. The restaurant encapsulates the essence of the area by sourcing produce from local artisan suppliers.

- Signature dishes

Crispy poached hen's egg with grilled asparagus, mushroom puree and truffle oil; pan-fried sea bream with sun-dried tomato and rocket risotto; and 'Biggles' sausages with grained mustard mash and cider apple sauce.

- Tips please?

Try reasonably priced new and old world wines, which are sourced from small independent producers, as well as internationally renowned vineyards. Organic wines are also available.

- What's the damage?

The express 45-minute, two-course lunch at £14.50 is great for those looking for quality food and prompt service. If not served within 45 minutes of being seated, the food is free. Three courses from the same menu costs £18.
