Franklin Rae to handle three-month Malaysian brief.

Malaysia's Multimedia Development Corporation has appointed Franklin Rae as its corporate PR agency.

The agency will look to raise the profile of Malaysia's animation, gaming and VFX companies within the international creative trade press. Focusing on the country's facilities, cultural diversity and skilled talent pool, the three-month project aims to establish Malaysia as an internationally renowned media hub.

Dong Energy, the European energy group, has drafted in Kreab Gavin Anderson to lead comms in the UK. The agency will provide strategic comms advice, media relations and support on UK and European public policy. Ken Cronin, managing partner, will lead the account. Dong Energy specialises in the construction and operation of offshore wind farms, as well as oil and gas exploration.

Casa Oil & Gas, the AIM-listed oil and gas explorer, has called in Conduit PR to handle financial public relations. Also listed in Toronto, the Texas-based firm specialises in the production of hydrocarbons in southern US.

Daniels Silverman, the debt collecting business, has brought in Broadgate Mainland to raise awareness of the firm and the debt-collecting industry. The agency will target business, trade and national press, to promote the firm and increase understanding of the wider business. Broadgate Mainland director Roland Cross will lead the account.

M&G Investments has hired Iman Asante as UK PR manager, handling comms for its retail business. She was previously media relations and PR manager at NS&I.
