Burson-Marsteller has appointed Michelle Arness Frederic as a

director within its healthcare division.

Frederic joins B-M from the Brussels-based management consultancy

Weinberg Group. During her nine years at Weinberg, Frederic helped found

its European headquarters and worked on issues and crisis management

for, among others, pharmaceutical clients.

At B-M, Frederic’s role will also include crisis management plus

regulatory affairs and new-business development. Others responsibilities

include acting a European client leader on the Johnson and Johnson

account.

Frederic reports to B-M’s UK healthcare practice leader Ralph Sutton,

who said the division is also looking for further staff at more junior

levels. The division has won ten new accounts in the past year and

business has increased from existing clients such as AstraZeneca.

B-M has also appointed Christine Hill as associate director in the

healthcare business. She joins from Ruder Finn where she was a senior

account executive.
