Public Affairs: The Week in Lobbying

Hill & Knowlton Brussels has appointed Thomas Tindemans as MD, EU public affairs.

The 49-year-old Belgian national joins the agency from international law firm White & Case, where he was head of the public affairs practice. H&K's long-serving Brussels CEO Elaine Cruikshanks left the agency in February.

Heathcroft Communications has hired Conservative Party aide Nick King as a senior consultant. King joins the fledgling public affairs and issues management agency this month, having recently left CCHQ where he was a policy adviser on culture, media and sport. Heathcroft was set up in late 2009 by former Gala Coral corporate affairs director Craig Leviton.

Four Communications has recruited Alan Laing as account director within its public affairs division. Laing is a former UK head of government relations for Bloomberg, and he joins Four from HardHat Communications.
