Parliamentary Communications, publisher of political titles

including The House, is launching what it hopes will be a groundbreaking

political web site, parlicom.com.

The site will offer an A-to-Z of lobbying companies as well as web links

to in-house Government affairs departments of blue chip companies and to

parliamentary record Hansard.

It will also feature on-line versions of Parliamentary Communications’

own publications, which include The Parliament Magazine and Holyrood,

which respectively cover the European and Scottish parliaments.

Parlicom.com new media affairs head Ken Benning said: ’If you were

reading an article on transport in one of our titles, there would be an

option to link into the Government affairs sites for transport

companies.’

Parliamentary Communications also organises conferences with politicians

as speakers, and parlicom.com will enable in-house Government affairs

advisers to questions MPs on-line after presentations.
