PUBLIC SECTOR: Hill made comms head of green groups

The Tidy Britain Group and Going for Green - two sister environmental charities with an annual combined income of pounds 8.4 million - have hired Janet Hill as communications director. She replaces Amanda Booth who has moved within the organisation to become regional director for the south-west of England. Hill joins from Redrow Homes where she was marketing manager. She will run a team of eight and be responsible for press and information services supporting the charities’ campaigns such as Planet Pledge - a campaign promoting lifestyle changes to help the environment.
