PUBLIC SECTOR: McGill handed top PR role at Scope

The charity Scope has appointed a new press and PR manager following the departure of Gill Amas just before Christmas. The new incumbent is Christina McGill, who has been doing the job for the last eight months while Amas was on maternity leave. McGill has been at the charity since April 1996 as a press and PR officer. Her new job will involve campaigns to connect the charity’s name in the public’s mind with equality for people with disabilities and planning for the its 50th anniversary next year.
