BORDER LINES: HONG KONG - BSMG and Bozell merge offices

BSMG Worldwide and Bozell Public Relations have merged their Hong Kong offices. The new outfit, which takes BSMG branding, will not result in redundancies. On the contrary, BSMG Worldwide chairman and chief executive officer Harris Diamond said the firm would be ’aggressively’ recruiting in the next few months. BSMG managing director Ken Walker becomes managing director Asia Pacific and Bozell managing director Judi Wong becomes managing director of Hong Kong.

While Bozell’s client base is primarily indigenous companies, BSMG’s is

mainly multinationals. Diamond said the merger means the new outfit can

make the best use of ’the terrific skills base’ of both agencies.
