Edelman London has appointed Inge Wallage, former manager of

Motorola’s EMEA business-to-business PR, to jointly head its technology

division with David Ingle.

Wallage and Ingle replace Sue Rizello, who has moved to Nortel

Telecommunications where she will head the European communications team.

They both report to Edelman chief executive Tari Hibbit,

’Technology is no longer a single business, it’s multi-faceted, with

different clients having different marketing and reputation management

requirements,’ said Hibbit, explaining why two appointments had been

made to fill what was formerly one post.

’We needed someone with Inge’s expertise to focus on the telecoms side,

while David will focus on the dot.coms, our internet services and

mainstream information technology clients,’ she said.

Between them, Wallage and Ingle will manage 20 staff. Wallage will

provide strategic advice to clients, including Cluster Consulting, a

management consultancy that advises on developments in the internet and

telecommunications markets. Ingle will work will clients including

microchip producer NVIDIA.
