Ketchum UK chief executive James Maxwell is to step back from the
day-to-day running of the company, following a management restructure,
to concentrate on European development and acquisitions.
As a result of the restrucutre, Maxwell will chair a ten-member
management board. Jane Boardman and Richard Houghton have been made
joint managing directors and will be responsible for marketing, new
business and people management. They will maintain responsibility for
Ketchum Life and the technology practice respectively.
Maxwell said he would continue to work closely with Jerry Olszewski,
senior partner international, on European acquisitions and would develop
the business’s relationship with other Ketchum European offices and with
Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services.
