Coral was appointed by the Football League to be its official betting and gaming partner in June.

Slice will work closely with the in-house Coral PR team and will be responsible for generating awareness and driving traffic both to Coral.co.uk and its 1,600 shops around the UK as part of the brief.

As part of the PR activity, Slice will be charged with news generation, celebrity maximisation and direct engagement with the fans of football league clubs and will be part of a wider integrated marketing effort devised and executed by Slice owners, Engine, covering digital, retail and experiential activity.

Slice director Greg Jones said of the appointment: ‘Becoming the official betting and gaming partner of the Football League provides a great opportunity for Coral to demonstrate its commitment to football and help bring that passion alive for punters across the UK. Slice will be working closely with the Coral PR team to deliver a creative campaign which excites media and consumers about the deal, and ultimately, helps drives a greater share of the football betting market for Coral.’

Additionally, Slice has bolstered its team with the appointment of Talia McKenzie as account manager. She joins from The Outside Organisation where she looked after 50 Cent & Joss Stone.

Prior to that, she spent 4 years at Slam where she was responsible for Braun, Lotus and Virgin Cruises.

At Slice, she will be working on a number of accounts including Radox & Southern Comfort.
