In a letter to Mike Grannatt, government information and communication service head Berry outlined ’frustration’ felt by local PROs when they are denied access to Government releases’, but have to manage the interest generated because it concerns ’local issues’.

Mike Grannatt, government information and communication service head

Berry outlined ’frustration’ felt by local PROs when they are denied

access to Government releases’, but have to manage the interest

generated because it concerns ’local issues’.



Grannatt said: ’The Government has been working hard to build a

partnership between us and our local government colleagues. The COI has

a good relationship with them.’
