PUBLIC SECTOR: Westminster trawls for comms chief

The London Borough of Westminster has been given the green light by council executives to start the hunt for a new communications head in January. The move was recommended by London agency TASC, which conducted an external review of council communications this autumn. The top PR position oversees a total communications team of 14 and was left vacant after former head Simon Morrison left in May to join the National Trust. Corporate projects leader Dale Cash has been covering the role for the past five months.
