The pitch is believed to be a four-way affair involving

Burson-Marsteller, Hill and Knowlton, Porter Novelli and Shandwick, with

a winner expected to be announced by the end of this month. One

potential factor in B-M’s favour is last month’s acquisition of its

former joint-venture partner in South Korea, Merit Communications (PR

Week, 24 Sept).
