AMSTERDAM: Motorola has appointed newly-formed communications

consultancy, BlueberryFrog, as its global agency for creative

development and execution on guerilla marketing projects.

Dan Holliday, co-founder of BlueberryFrog, will head the account,

reporting to Leslie Dance, head of global personal communications for

Motorola.

Based in Amsterdam, the consultancy has a global network of some 50

freelancers and small independent agencies implementing projects.

As well as guerilla marketing, BlueberryFrog is Motorola’s ’thought

partner’, providing strategic ideas on how Motorola’s brand fits in with

contemporary culture.

Holliday left Hill and Knowlton’s London office, where he was board

director, youth marketing, in May this year to form the consultancy.

Motorola retains H&K for PR on a global basis.

The other founders are Howard Beale, who also worked in youth marketing

at Hill and Knowlton and left at the same time as Holliday; and Mark

Chalmers, creative director, who joined from ad agency HHCL.
