LONDON: On-line service provider AOL Europe has appointed
international advertising executive Andrei Bogolubov as senior
vice-president and chief communications officer.
Bogolubov replaces Bill Burrington, who left to join America Online Inc
as senior vice-president in its international division.
Based in London, Bogolubov will oversee all corporate communications for
AOL Europe, working closely with directors in the sector. He reports to
AOL International president, Michael Lynton, who is also acting CEO for
Bogolubov joins from communications consultancy, AB IMAGE, which he
co-founded in Moscow. Previously, he served as president of Russian
operations for global advertising agency Bozell Worldwide, now owned by
Bogolubov has also been senior vice-president at New York-based
corporate and public affairs PR agency Robinson Lerer and Montgomery and
held a position as assistant to the Secretary of Public Affairs at the
US Department of Interior, managing its public affairs activities
nationwide and acting as press spokesman for the Secretary.
AOL Europe operates in nine countries and four languages across Europe.
