Hermes Fund Managers appoints Asmita Kapadia as associate director

Hermes Fund Managers has announced the appointment of Asmita Kapadia in the newly created role of associate director, PR.

She begins the role with immediate effect and will be responsible for driving PR globally. Kapadia was previously deputy director of corporate communications at M&G, where she spent nine years.  

Jane Routledge, Hermes’ head of communications, said: ‘Over the past couple of years Hermes has developed itself as a multi-boutique asset manager and we are at the next stage of growth. Asmita will be an excellent addition to Hermes' team, and we are confident that her breadth of PR experience and extensive knowledge of asset management will help us in bringing the Hermes message to the external market.'

Bite Communications has extended its tech brief with Parallels, a company specialising in virtualisation and automation software, to cover all global comms.
