PRWeek announces judging panel for this year's 29 under 29

A leading agency boss with a background in recruitment, the UK's first professor of PR, the comms director of a global brand and a former 29 under 29-er and MD of an award-winning Top 150 agency will judge this year's 29 under 29.

PRWeek can reveal that the judging panel for this year’s hunt for the brightest and best young talent in the PR industry will be: Sally Ward, UK MD of Porter Novelli; Professor Anne Gregory, director of the Centre for Public Relations at Leeds Met; Nick Hindle, vice-president, communications, at McDonald’s; and Daljit Bhurji, MD of Diffusion, PRWeek’s New Consultancy of the Year 2009.

The high-profile panel will be responsible for selecting the 29 PR professionals that will form PRWeek’s 29 under 29 2010.

Agencies and in-house teams must submit their nominations for the 29 under 29 by Friday 16 July. Nominees must work in the UK PR industry and be aged under 29 on 30 May 2010. Candidates cannot nomiate themselves.

Nominations must be sent by email to cathy.wallace@haymarket.com and contain: the nominee’s name, date of birth, job title, contact details and the three reasons why he or she is one of the top PR professionals in the UK under the age of 29. Nominations must not exceed 500 words.

The final 29 under 29 will be unveiled in a feature in PRWeek in October.
