PUBLIC SECTOR: Welsh Law body sets up public affairs role

Lowri Morgan, the new secretary for the Law Society in Wales, has created the role of public affairs executive to cover the activity of the Welsh Assembly. The post will report to Morgan, reporting back to the Law Society’s London headquarters, on the business of the assembly. Other aspects of the role will include developing relations between the society and Assembly members and acting as a mouthpiece for Welsh lawyers.
