BORDER LINES: Ong named MD of Ogilvy PR office

SINGAPORE: Ogilvy PR Worldwide has appointed Ong Hock Chuan as managing director of its Singapore office. Ong joins from Jakarta, where he has led the agency’s Indonesia bureau for the last three years. Ong replaces Tham Kok Wing who is leaving to join Asia Inc next month. Until a successor is appointed to replace Ong in Indonesia, he will retain responsibility for that office. He reports to Matthew Anderson, president of Ogilvy in Asia-Pacific, and Bob Seltzer, the agency’s global CEO.
