relationship with the Rosen Group and brought its PR in-house.

To launch the magazine’s internal operation, the company has hired

former Playboy Enterprises director of corporate communications, Diane

Stefani to fill the newly-created role of public relations director.

Stefani, who had worked for Playboy for six years, was responsible for

promoting a number of the company’s divisions, including on-line and

product marketing.

Stefani is already launching a search for an agency to promote the

Yahoo!

Internet Life on-line music awards. The ceremony is scheduled to take

place on 24 July.

Yahoo! Internet Life launched in 1996 with a print run of 100,000. The

title’s current circulation is 900,000.

Stefani will continue in her role as chairman of the Magazine Publishers

of America’s communications committee.
