The Week in Healthcare - Axon bolsters team

Axon has added to its senior team with the appointments of associate director Natalie Henson and editorial and scientific director Shanida Nataraja. Henson rejoins the firm after two years leading the healthcare team at Fleishman-Hillard in South Africa. Nataraja joins from Medicus International.

Lloydspharmacy has appointed Nick Murray as head of internal communications. He joins from TNT Express, where he spent four years as communications manager.

Margot James, Tory MP and founder of Shire Health PR, told an audience at the PM Society's 2010 Annual Lecture last month that under the new Government, patients and families would have a greater say in their own healthcare. James was elected as MP for Stourbridge at the recent general election.
