Media: Media Briefs - Score is sole applicant for Scottish licence

Score Digital, a subsidiary of Scottish Radio Holdings, was the only group to have applied for Edinburgh’s digital multiplex radio licence by the closing date last week. Score is proposing to broadcast seven stations to the area’s potential audience of 1.1 million listeners aged 15 and over. Asian broadcaster Sunrise, GWR, Capital Radio’s Xfm, Saga Radio, the BBC and Forth FM will provide the programming.
