Public Sector: New PR and events staff for Sparks charity

The children’s medical research charity Sparks has appointed a new PR, fundraising and events team. Cherry Bushell joins as head of fundraising from Macmillan Cancer Research where she worked for seven years. Katherine Roper, Chris Treacy and James Handford have been appointed as senior events organisers, handling activities such as the annual Johnny Herbert Karting Race. And Liz Dimmock has been appointed special events organiser handling the Sparks annual summer ball. Jo Maskery also joins as PR assistant, having previously worked at the Royal Opera House and at BBC Worldwide.
