City & Corporate: Visa in head of issues hire

Visa Europe has recruited Amanda Kamin, a former senior PRO at Motorola, as head of issues management.

Reporting to Simon Kleine, vice-president, corporate communications, Kamin will work with media on high-profile issues and look to proactively promote the benefits of electronic payments.

At Motorola, Kamin was responsible for PR across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the past two years.

Prior to this, her background was in corporate comms, with stints at agencies including MS&L and Burson-Marsteller. While at B-M, she worked on the Visa International account.

Kamin said: 'This move is about coming full circle. Visa was my first major account and now I can bring experience in both the personal finance and technology sectors, as well as a truly international perspective.'
