M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment awarded brief to promote Jameson Cult Film Club

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has picked up a brief with Pernod Ricard to promote its Jameson Cult Film Club.

The club was launched in 2008 and screens cult films in unusual locations. Previous events include screenings of Trainspotting in a derelict warehouse and American Werewolf in London at the Union Chapel on Halloween.

The win builds on the film work that the agency already carries out for Pernod Ricard (UK) on the Jameson Empire Film Awards, an account the agency won back in 2009.

The agency's key roles will include delivering a comms campaign involving partnerships, national and regional PR, and negotiating film rights and assets.

Dave Roberts, M&C Saatchi's head of entertainment, said: ‘The Jameson Cult Film Club is an incredibly powerful brand asset and we look forward to working together to make it bigger and more successful than ever.'

The account team will be headed up by associate director Jodie Fullagar and run by account manager Claire Timlett.
