A regular voice on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Catcheside has joined as associate director and will have responsibility for helping to build a team of education experts at the 15-strong agency.

Champollion was set up in 2005 by former BBC and Financial Times journalist Simon Buckby. He said: 'We have taken on seven new staff since the start of 2010 and we are looking to continue our rapid expansion by setting up a team of education specialists.'
