BORDER LINES: Comms head quits Degussa-Hules

FRANKFURT: German chemicals giant Degussa-Hules has lost director of communications Eva-Maria Geiblinger, who is to leave the Frankfurt-based concern to teach in Vienna. She has been corporate communications director with Degussa since 1990 and has been responsible for external PR since the company merged with Hules in March of this year. Internal PR is handled by Hans-Joachim Ritterhaus, former PR chief at Huls. Both Geiblinger and Ritterhaus report to Michael Jansen, who heads the firm’s communications and international affairs.
