Zenith Media, the media research and buying arm of Cordiant
Communications and Saatchi and Saatchi, has hired Allan Ripp PR to raise
its profile in the US. Well-known across Europe for its research on the
media sector, Zenith remains largely anonymous in the US. Ripp’s charge
is to promote the variety of Zenith’s business operations and its recent
research on the country’s 20 media owners. The company’s primary backers
are Saatchi and Saatchi (in the midst of being acquired by Publicis) and
Cordiant (reportedly in talks with True North Communications).
