Orange launches digital campaign to support partnership with Glastonbury

Orange has unveiled a digital campaign to support its partnership with the Glastonbury Festival.

Orange will be giving visitors to its website the chance to win tickets to the sold out festival through their new ticket giveaway 'Where's My Welly?'. The communications company will also provide exclusive blog content across the weekend for those following the festival online.

The ticket competition will run until 9 June. During the two week period, visitors to the site have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets every day by locating an orange welly when they zoom into a crowd shot taken at one of the past Glastonbury Festivals.

Pictures will change each day and feature clues and signs to give players help regarding the whereabouts of the welly. At the end of each day the winner will be picked via prize draw.

Following on from the success of 2009's '100 Hours In The Field' blog, Orange will work with IMP Media to launch a bigger version of the 100 hour blog for 2010's Glastonbury Festival.

Running from mid June and providing regular news and insight throughout the festival weekend, Orange's blog will be updated throughout the day ending at 2am on Monday morning when the festival comes to a close. The bloggers will be encouraging festival goers to create their own 'postcard' blogs from various sites on the festival, which will be represented online through an interactive map of the site.

It has emerged today that Gorillaz are set to replace headline act U2, who announced it was pulling out of the festival earlier this week.
