MEDIA IN BRIEF: Maillard heads for Maxim

Top Gear magazine’s managing editor Chris Maillard has been appointed editor of Dennis Publishing’s men’s lifestyle magazine Maxim. He replaces Nigel Ambrose, who is due to leave next month. Maillard helped launch Top Gear in 1993, as managing editor, and has previously worked at the Guardian and the Mirror.
