Consumer shop Slice hires Carphone Warehouse PR manager Ruth Leach

Consumer PR shop Slice has recruited Carphone Warehouse PR manager Ruth Leach as a consultant.

Leach joins Slice after almost for years at the Carphone Warehouse, where she was responsible for the group's digital PR. She also looked after the development and implementation of its social networking projects.

Slice is part of marcoms group Engine, and looks after consumer PR for brands including Radox, Tefal and Southern Comfort.

Slice managing director Nadia Gabbie said of Leach's appointment: ‘Ruth's role within our team will be to ensure that our ethos of providing a holistic on- and offline service continues, as well as ensuring that our media planning and evaluation is at the cutting edge.'
