BORDER LINES: DUBAI - Gulf TradaNet hires H&K for launch

Electronic commerce consultancy Gulf TradaNet has selected Hill and Knowlton’s Middle East operation to promote its launch across the region. The agency is on a six-month awareness-raising contract starting next month. It has been briefed to focus particularly on business audiences in the oil-producing countries. It will run the account from its Dubai office. Hill and Knowlton regional director Nigel Perry said: ’The internet is much newer here and it’s suddenly becoming big business. We will encourage the development of e-commerce and highlight the potential role of the firm.’
