BORDER LINES: STOCKHOLM - ID2 do expansion drive with H&K

Swedish IT company AU-Systems Ego, to be renamed ID2 Software in March, has hired Hill and Knowlton Sweden to co-ordinate its European corporate communications strategy. H&K will liaise with the company’s UK agency, Words Etc, and its Norwegian agency, Informationsbyraet, as the company starts its European expansion drive. H&K senior account director Mikael Westmark said the agencies will launch the company’s new logo and name, chosen because it appeals more to the European market than the current one. AU-Systems is owned by telecommunications groups Telea and Ericsson, and specialises in security and electronic identification products like smart cards.
