Global agency Ogilvy Adams and Rinehart has renamed itself Ogilvy

Public Relations Worldwide in an attempt to streamline its global

branding.

The move will result in OA&R’s 23 offices adopting the new name,

including its 16 locations in Asia which are still named Ogilvy and

Mather PR. Ogilvy PR also has offices in New York, London, Paris,

Brussels, Washington, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

The European and US operations of Ogilvy PR took the OA&R name following

the acquisition of financial agency Adams and Rinehart in 1992. However,

the agency was not renamed in Asia because of the strength of the Ogilvy

brand.

Bob Seltzer, president and chief executive of Ogilvy PR Worldwide, said:

’Clients are looking at PR differently now. International PR is the

future and we are seeking global opportunities.’ Seltzer also outlined

plans to increase levels of Ogilvy PR’s healthcare business across

Europe and to expand into Latin America. ’We aim to grow quickly,’ said

Seltzer.

’We don’t want to be the largest network but we want to move into the

top five.’

After a year of searching Ogilvy PR has yet to fill the vacancy of

European chief executive but expects to make an announcement soon.
