STOP PRESS: Hannon joins Political Context

Political Context has appointed Paul Hannon, formerly leader of Newbury Council and a director of consultancy Sallingbury Casey, as its fifth director. He is charged with developing the agency’s planning and local government practice. After leaving Sallingbury Casey in 1991, when it merged with the Rowland Company, Hannon worked as international officer for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and, most recently, as a freelance political consultant.
