NEWS: Advertising nous wins Bates Dorland for Consolidated

Consolidated Communications, the integrated communications agency, has been hired by advertising agency Bates Dorland to boost its profile in the broadcast media and national press.

Consolidated Communications, the integrated communications agency, has

been hired by advertising agency Bates Dorland to boost its profile in

the broadcast media and national press.



Consolidated director Jon-athan Shore said the agency would target the

marketing community, the public and sectors where Bates Dorland does

not have clients. Consolidated was hired on a six-month contract without

a pitch.



The win means a reunion for Consolidated and Bates Dorland chief

executive Graham Hinton. Until last year, the agency worked for ad

agency D’Arcy Masius Benton and Bowles, where Hinton was formerly joint

chairman.



Hinton said he had been impressed with Consolidated’s knowledge of the

advertising industry.
